Opening up to others needs locally, regionally and globally

One of the 10 core values of Genesis is that we desire to be the voice of compassion and justice. In the book of Acts 1:8, Jesus calls the church to tell all people about him. Genesis takes this commission very seriously.

Our love for God must be expressed both in our worship and in our servitude for the very people around us. Serving the poor and disadvantaged reflects the heart of God. We are the voice of the helpless. Our Justice, Advocacy and Compassion (JAC) ministry was created to go alongside those who are poor or otherwise marginalized in our world.

Genesis has outreach initiatives in several areas including serving the needs of the homeless in downtown Phoenix, introducing Christ to the poverty stricken in Mexico and to young children in Africa. We encourage you to take a few minutes to find out more about what Genesis is doing locally, regionally and globally and how you can be a part of this ministry.

For more information about the JAC ministry and how you can get involved, inquire at JAC@genesis-church.com.

Deuteronomy 15:10 Give freely and spontaneously. Don't have a stingy heart. ... There are always going to be poor and needy people among you. So I command you: Always be generous, open purse and hands, give to your neighbors in trouble, your poor and hurting neighbors
