Genesis was born in March 2003 when 50 people from Paradise Valley Community Church began meeting together to start a new kind of church in the NE valley. Genesis has always desired to embody the first century church as found in the book of Acts chapter 2. At Genesis we strive to be a Christ-like presence in a post-christian culture.
Jeremiah 17:8 He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.
