We value...

  • the worship of Jesus Christ
We desire to portray an accurate picture of Jesus Christ during a time of ambiguity and relativity. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Savior and the Lover of our souls.
  • the authority of the Bible
The Bible is our ultimate authority for living the life that God desires all people to live. We believe that the Bible is relevant and applicable for our culture and our time, and it is the Christ-follower's calling to live and model the biblical life for our culture to experience the Bible through our lives.
  • the need for authentic community
We believe that the Christian faith is a call to community, not individualism; therefore we seek to establish a family of pilgrims on a journey of faith. Christian Community is the attraction to spiritual seekers and the starting point for questions of faith.
  • the call to be missional
We believe that mission is why the Church exists. We desire to adopt a worldview that longs to incarnate Christ in a post-Christian culture. We accept the challenge of Jesus to live in the world without becoming a product of it. We desire to convey the gospel of Jesus Christ to all people believing that because people matter to God, they MUST matter to the Church.
  • the desire to be spiritually holistic
We believe that Christ-followers must engage the broader culture. We seek to integrate the Christian faith into all areas of life instead of separating the spiritual realm from other parts of life. We desire to not only know the heart of God, but to know the pulse of the people around us
  • the desire to be the voice of compassion and justice
Our love for God must be expressed both in our worship and in our servitude for the very people around us, especially to the marginalized. Serving the poor and disadvantaged reflects the heart of God. We are the voice of the helpless.
  • the belief that all Christ-followers are servants who minister
We envision a ministry where everyone is serving and ministering in some capacity with the help of the leadership team aiding as coaches. All members of the church will be serving in some manner and giving of their financial resources.
  • the hope to be a multi-generational community
We desire to reflect the makeup of the first century church, young and old together learning from each other's lives and sharing those experiences so that God might use people to sharpen us and grow us. We find great value in the different life stages represented in the body of Christ
  • the desire to be generous with our lives
God has been so generous in giving us the very life of his one and only son, Jesus. Therefore, we desire to reflect the generous heart of God to those in our community as well as those outside of it.
  • the belief that spiritual transformation occurs in many ways
Throughout the history of the Body of Christ, Christians have been transformed spiritually through sacrifice, service, hospitality, dialogue, worship and the disciplines to name a few elements. The educational model is only one of the many ways that God transforms us through the Spirit's work in our life
